The NorthStar Enterprise Product Hub subsystem is a business service that consolidates all product data into a centralized product repository, providing a hub for enhancing and distributing product information. The content of the hub includes reference, indicative, classification schema, benchmark and marketing data for each product. The hub pulls security information from the firm’s existing security master, marketing information from the firm’s existing content management system, and product and market information from any market data feed(s) the firm currently uses or wants to use in the future.
The Enterprise Product Hub provides:
- A unified repository of the firm’s investment vehicles and products, no matter how diverse
- A centralized asset classification schema and the respective mapping of strategies to the schema
- A centralized communication center for investment managers allowing them to seamlessly update qualitative commentary relative to investment vehicles
- Product information input for reporting systems, performance and accounting systems and analytical tools
- Product reporting for MIS purposes

- Published APIs facilitate interaction with existing systems or custom interface development
